Sister's Struggle with Nursing Uniforms

Assalamu alaikum everyone. I'm in my first year studying to become a nurse, and there's been a bit of tension between me and my husband over something my school requires. They've asked that I wear short sleeves during my practical placements, but as someone who observes hijab and typically covers my arms, this is really difficult for me. I've been speaking with the placement team, trying to figure out a solution to wear long sleeves, but it seems the best I might get, if they agree at all, is three-quarter length sleeves. My husband feels like I'm prioritizing my education over my deen, and it's been weighing on me. Any advice from the community on what I should do?
