Please make dua for my dear father who is struggling

Assalamu alaikum brothers and sisters. My father means the world to me, and we have a beautiful relationship, alhamdulillah. He's been dealing with schizophrenia, but with treatment, it doesn't affect us kids much. He also has a smoking habit. Every few weeks he tries to quit, but it never lasts. When I ask why he goes back, he says with so much sadness, 'Allah didn't help me. I waited and waited, but He didn't help.' It breaks my heart. Also, way back around 1984 to 1986, someone found black magic in my dad's bag-he was targeted. Since there were no imams around here back then, they asked a Kurdish religious person, and they decided to throw it into the sea. We still don't know who did it, why, or if it still affects him. I'm just asking everyone to raise your hands and make a sincere dua for my father. Please ask Allah to grant him health, help him leave smoking, and shield him from all harm.
