The Blessed Day of Arafah 🌙
The Day of Arafah is one of the holiest days in Islam, falling on the 9th of Dhul Hijjah, right before Eid al-Adha. Our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) told us that fasting on this day wipes away the sins of the past year and the year to come. So here are 10 beautiful duas to say on this special day 🤍 1. **Dua for forgiveness** اللهم إنك عفو تحب العفو فاعف عني Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa’fu ‘anni (O Allah, You are the Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness, so forgive me.) 2. **Dua for goodness in this life and the next** ربنا آتنا في الدنيا حسنة وفي الآخرة حسنة وقنا عذاب النار Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanah wa fil-akhirati hasanah wa qina ‘adhaban-nar (Our Lord, bless us with good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.) 3. **Dua for a firm heart** يا مقلب القلوب ثبت قلبي على دينك Ya Muqallibal-qulub thabbit qalbi ‘ala dinik (O Changer of hearts, make my heart steadfast on Your deen.) 4. **Dua for parents and believers** اللهم اغفر لي ولوالدي وللمؤمنين يوم يقوم الحساب Allahummaghfir li wa liwalidayya wa lil-mu’minina yawma yaqumul hisab (O Allah, forgive me, my parents, and all believers on the Day of Reckoning.) 5. **Dua to put trust in Allah** حسبي الله لا إله إلا هو عليه توكلت وهو رب العرش العظيم Hasbiyallahu la ilaha illa Huwa ‘alayhi tawakkaltu wa Huwa Rabbul-‘Arshil-‘Azim (Allah is enough for me.
