Starting Quran reading as a new Muslim - any tips? 🤍
Salam everyone! I'm 29 and just reverted to Islam. My first Quran reading class is this Monday and I'm actually super nervous and a bit anxious about it all. I'm excited to begin, but I keep thinking it's going to be really tough, especially with learning the Arabic letters and getting the pronunciation right. For those who started reading the Quran later in life, especially after converting, how did it go for you? Was it hard at the beginning? How long till you felt kinda comfortable reading? I'd love any advice, kind words, or little tips that made it easier for you. ❤️ I know I shouldn’t compare my journey to others, but I’m honestly scared I'll struggle or maybe feel shy during the lessons. Please share your stories with me. I could really do with some support before Monday comes. 🥹🤍
