Is It Okay for a Female Doctor to See Male Patients Alone?

Assalamu alaikum. I’m a Christian woman trying to learn more about Islamic practices, so please bear with me. I work as a doctor and often have one-on-one appointments with both men and women in a private clinic room. Sometimes I need to do basic checks like taking a pulse, listening to breathing, or other necessary exams that involve touch. A while ago a Muslim brother came in as a patient, and it got me thinking-what’s the Islamic ruling on this? Is it generally allowed for a Muslim man to get medical care from a female doctor?
