Anyone else find the mosque carpet patterns a little distracting?

Salaams everyone. This might be a random thought, but does anyone else sometimes get a bit distracted by the detailed patterns on the mosque carpets during prayer? My focus gets split between the design right in front of me and the one next to it. I know the main thing is to look at the place of prostration (sujood) as a general direction, but my eyes get a little confused sometimes. Makes me wonder if anyone else would prefer a completely plain and soft carpet instead. Just a thought!
