Concerned about safety in India as a Muslim

Assalamualaikum everyone. After the recent election outcomes, my social media is flooded with videos of individuals damaging public areas and displaying aggression, claiming it's justified. It's disheartening to see people ignoring reason and causing harm out of pure animosity. What is gained from such actions? Why target public spaces? I feel deeply anxious about the future of our country. I reside in the southern region now, but I fear this hostility might spread here within the next decade or so. I'm left wondering, should we consider leaving this nation? May Allah SWT guide us and protect us all.
