Such a Beautiful Thought About Dua and Allah's Mercy

SubhanAllah, I was doing some dhikr this morning and this ayah just kept coming to mind: 'And when My servants ask you concerning Me, indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me and believe in Me that they may be guided.' (Surah Al-Baqarah, 186). It's truly so humbling and beautiful how Allah SWT never turns away the dua of anyone who calls upon Him. Just think about it – even someone who might not believe, in a moment of sheer panic or need, might cry out 'Oh God, help me!' And Allah, in His infinite mercy, answers. Of course, the ultimate success in the Akhirah is for the believers who submit to Him, but it just shows how vast His Rahmah is in this world. It makes me wonder, if He shows such mercy to everyone, then what about His mercy for those of us who try our best to pray our Salah, do good, and sincerely repent when we slip up? Alhamdulillah.
