Acting Aceh Secretary Attends Prophet Muhammad's Birthday Commemoration 1448 H at Baiturrahman Grand Mosque
Acting Secretary of Aceh Region, Taufik, showed up at the Prophet Muhammad SAW's birthday commemoration 1448 Hijri at Baiturrahman Grand Mosque, Monday night (24/8/2026). The event started right after Isha congregational prayer and was attended by a bunch of officials, including Aceh Police Chief Inspector General Ruddi Setiawan, SIM Airbase Commander Colonel Pilot Suryo Anggoro, Aceh Besar Regent Muharram Idris, Banda Aceh Legislative Council Chairman Irwansyah, along with some Forkopimda folks.
In the Aceh Governor's speech read out by Taufik, this commemoration is seen as a moment to get to know, love, and follow the example of the Prophet's character. The Governor stressed that love for the Prophet should show in honest, patient, fair, and compassionate behavior.
Carrying the theme "Emulating the Prophet's Character in Realizing an Islamic, Noble, and United Acehnese Society", the Governor emphasized that Aceh's development must line up with Islamic values. Unity is the key to strength, by following the Prophet's example who built communities through brotherhood.
The Governor also mentioned the government's commitment to delivering a trustworthy administration, and urged scholars, educators, community leaders, youth, and all elements to make the Prophet's birthday a push for moral improvement and strengthening of ukhuwah.
