Qatar's LNG Disruption
Just read that the huge Ras Laffan LNG refinery in Qatar, which got hit by missile strikes, might not be fully back until late August-and some parts could take years to fix. They lost about 17% of export capacity, and revenue losses are estimated at $20 billion annually. It's crazy that only three companies worldwide make the needed repair parts, with delays of 2-4 years. This is really affecting Asian countries that rely on their LNG, causing energy cuts and school closures there.
