Hey, how do you pick which Surah to recite in your salah?

For me, my mind just goes into auto-pilot after Al-Fatiha, like it's on shuffle, you know? Except for Dhuhr and Asr prayers-I usually stick to the shorter Surahs, just cycling through them. How about you, dear brothers and sisters? Do you plan ahead, or does it just come to you in the moment? Would love to hear your thoughts, insha'Allah!
