I feel like my constant daydreaming has wrecked my life. Only 18 days left-please make dua for me.
Assalamu alaikum, everyone. For as long as I can recall, I've battled this intense daydreaming habit. It's gotten so severe that just glimpsing someone else's life or fantasizing about a different path can trap me in hours of made-up scenarios. I totally zone out of reality, and it's pushed my procrastination to a crazy level. I truly want to change. I keep making study timetables, planning my days, prepping for exams, and promising myself I'll start praying my five daily salah without fail. But when the moment comes to act, I barely ever do it. I feel stuck in a loop I can't escape. This already made me fail a year once, and I'm so scared it's happening again. Now, I've got just 18 days until my results come out. I'm praying I can pass at least one of the two subjects so I can move to Grade 12, but my real hope is to pass both. My biggest dream has always been to become a doctor, inshaAllah. I don't want to lose that because I couldn't get a grip on myself. I'm also striving to strengthen my connection with Allah. I want to be consistent in my five daily prayers, make abundant dua, and do lots of dhikr. I know I must put in the work too, and I'm really trying. Please remember me in your duas, and if you have any advice, I'd be so grateful. I don't want to keep living like this.
