Dealing with an Ant Problem at Home – Need Islamic Guidance

Salam everyone, I’m at my wit’s end here. For more than a year now, ants have been invading every corner of our house, and I just don’t know what to do anymore. I’m well aware that our beloved Prophet, peace be upon him, told us not to kill ants, along with bees, hoopoes, and shrikes. So I’ve been doing everything I can to avoid harming them. I block any cracks I find, but these tiny creatures still manage to sneak through the smallest gaps every couple of days. It feels like a never-ending battle. I spend hours gently moving them out, only for more to show up soon after. I’ve even thought about using ant gel to get rid of the colony, but the hadith holds me back. I really fear falling into sin. Has anyone else dealt with something like this? I’m desperate for any tips that fit our Islamic values-please share your advice. Jazakallah khair.
