Having a Hard Time Keeping My Trust in Allah’s Plan
Assalamu Alaykum. I’m dealing with something that’s been weighing on my heart for so long, and whenever I think about it too much, I just can’t hold back the tears. I’ve been raising my hands in dua for nearly a year now-praying tahajjud, seizing every blessed moment like Laylatul Qadr and Arafah, you name it. I even prayed salat al-istikhara, wondering if maybe I should let this go, but Allah showed me signs that felt like a gentle nudge to keep asking. I dream about it too, but honestly, things haven’t really budged since the start, and it’s starting to get to me. Sometimes during salah, shaytan whispers to me, ‘What’s the use of asking when nothing changes?’ It breaks my focus and leaves me feeling low. I don’t want to lose my tawakkul, but my anxiety makes it so hard to stay patient. Any tips on not giving up hope and trusting that Allah’s timing is perfect? I won’t go into details about my dua since it’s too personal to share, but I just need some sisterly advice. Jazakallahu Khairan.
