As salamu alaykum, everyone. I need to ask for your du'as for my younger sister. She's going through a really difficult phase and has gotten in with the wrong crowd. She's become very stubborn and rebellious, picking up harmful habits like smoking and staying out late at night. It's so tough to see her drawn towards things that are clearly haraam, and it's tearing my family apart. My mom worries constantly to the point where it's affecting our own relationship. We've tried talking to my sister, advising her, and even got her some help in the past, but she doesn't seem to listen. Our situation is complicated because due to some old family issues, she currently lives with a non-Muslim foster family near us. I love my sister so much. We grew up together and are incredibly close, sharing everything. That's why this hurts so deeply. I've cried and made du'a for her guidance and protection countless times. Some extended family members have even distanced themselves because of her choices, though they are still civil. Please, I beg you, make sincere du'a that Allah (SWT) guides her heart back to the straight path, protects her from harm, and grants our family sabr.
