As-salamu alaykum. I'm crashing out fam. Wallah I'm so over this shyt. The number of times Arabs just willingly ignore my people because we're African with the unspoken bias “you blacks deserve what you get” is turning me into a pessimist. Because of this I've been pulling away from the Muslim community here - oddly enough I've seen more real support for my people from some Christians and atheists even though Sudan is a Muslim-majority country. The nerve of some Arab/White Muslims who call themselves activists but never speak up for us African Muslims - you will NEVER understand our rage. I'm so angry I've gone numb, I honestly...don't care about anything anymore. I've accepted that my country might be wiped out. An entire city already went extinct. You raise your voice for Palestinian mothers and families but ignore Sudanese mothers and children going through the same horrors. We Sudanese always stood up for you, not to get anything back but because it's right. It's what Rasulullah (saws) would have done. But yeah, a part of me is almost jealous of Palestine for the attention they get. “but this isn't a genocide Olympics sister, you're basically saying you hate Palestine! Palestine needs more support sister 🤓☝🏽” Where TF did I say that? If I get ONE MORE message like this I'm done. Palestine has been getting support for years! And what makes me respect them more is that even in their dire state they STILL advocate for us more than you do. I saw someone hiding in Gaza say, “my brothers and sisters in Sudan are dying, they need attention.” That meant a lot. Listen, MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE DYING. MY PEOPLE ARE GOING THROUGH MASS EXTINCTION AND NONE OF YOU ARABS GIVES A FLYING F*CK. Boycotting Israel? Where's that same energy for the UAE then? Oh right - it's Arab so obviously all Arabs MUST be perfect and angels! Lmaoo, you're telling people not to visit Tel Aviv while you fly to Dubai to post your boujee meal and villa pics on top of the blood of my people. Disgusting. Where do you think Dubai gets all their gold from? Our blood and souls. Wake up ya jama'a! The UAE is funding and enabling the killing of the next generation. I don't think many of you grasp how big the word “activist” is, especially as a Muslim. Being an activist means speaking up for EVERYONE, not just Palestine - INCLUDING countries in Africa. “But sister there are many atrocities in the world” - you're right. If you can't do that, don't call yourself an activist, simple as that. Or call yourself a Palestinian advocate and we won't have beef. But don't call yourself an activist when you KNOW places like Sudan are facing genocide too. If your family is dying in Palestine then I’m not talking about you - do what you need to do. I'm mainly angry at the diaspora. Not saying I don't believe, but I'm tired of “hearts and prayers.” I wish you would also post about us and raise awareness (I would say donate but sadly the few aid workers left were murdered yesterday and funds have been stolen and used against us). Massacres, bombings, lynchings, children and women hung from trees, raped, shot in the face. It's relentless. And before anyone says “Palestine is more important because al-Aqsa is there” - of course al-Aqsa matters - but that doesn't give you the right to purposely ignore and blatantly discriminate against Sudanese people. How dare you think we're less human. The only difference between Sudan and Palestine right now is that Palestinians still have the privilege of internet and can document things. Sudanese people are being intentionally cut off. What happens in Sudan is so horrific the government doesn't want you to see it - none of you will ever fully understand. If I pissed you off, argue with the wall, unfollow me, report me, and f*k off for all I care. May Allah purify my heart so I can follow the sunnah of the Prophet who forgave those who belittled and tortured him and his people - I'm not there yet. I've seen so many Arabs treat my own people like trash, 3ayb wallah. Even Egyptians who are African - ya Allah! My little cousins who fled to Egypt come home crying because Egyptian kids and adults call them monkeys, slaves, all kinds of slurs, and beat them. They ask me why MUSLIMS are so cruel. I can't comfort them because I wonder the same thing.
