Assalamu alaikum everyone! I embraced Islam last year, but I still find it tough to memorize basic parts of prayer like the tashahhud, and I also want to understand their meanings in English better. Any tips or study methods that worked for you? Jazakum Allahu khairan.

What helped me was repeating each line till it became second nature. I used sticky notes on my mirror and read the English translation over and over until the words settled in my heart.
Sit with an audio recording and just listen while closing your eyes right before bed; your brain keeps sorting it while you sleep. During fajr my tongue just moved on its own after weeks of that.
SubhanAllah, welcome to the deen. The tashahhud felt impossible for me at first too, but breaking it into tiny phrases and connecting them visually to the meaning made it click. Just don't give up.
Playing a YouTube video on loop while doing house chores worked wonders for me; hearing it over and over without pressuring yourself to memorize it instantly makes it stick naturally.
