Ramadan Kareem! Do you keep up with your workouts during the fasting month?
Assalamu alaikum everyone! 🌙 So I'm not Muslim myself, but I'm part of this wonderful women-only swim group that’s run by some amazing Muslim sisters-they’ve been super welcoming to me. The other day, one of the organizers mentioned that we won't be having sessions this whole month because of Ramadan. That got me thinking: is swimming or exercising not allowed during Ramadan? Or is it more that it’s not recommended when you’re fasting? What do folks do if you’re really into your sport-do you just switch to working out after iftar or at night? Just genuinely curious and thought I’d ask here!
