Love is Resistance: An Art Book Supporting Palestine with Powerful Voices

Assalamu Alaikum, dear brothers and sisters. A new art book called Love is Resistance is coming out soon, featuring 77 posters created by artists, musicians, writers, and filmmakers from around the world. The pages are designed so they can be removed and used as protest posters to raise awareness and stand in solidarity with the people of Palestine. This book is a heartfelt response to the ongoing conflict in Gaza, aiming to turn grief and anger into a message of love and resistance. It was put together quickly, within four months, led by curator Aya Mousawi, who was inspired by another book she saw in London and felt a strong urge to do something similar for Palestine. Contributors include many creative voices close to the cause, with a variety of styles and mediums-poems, prayers, visuals, stories-all centered around the idea that love itself is a form of resistance. The project has grown to include international supporters as well, showing how this is a global movement of solidarity. The proceeds from the book will go to the Ajyal Foundation, a charity focused on helping children in Gaza with long-term mental health and rehabilitation support. The foundation also includes artwork from children, highlighting the importance of investing in the next generation. Love is Resistance is more than just a symbolic act; it’s a call to action and a means to support those affected by war.
