How can I make my salah feel heartfelt again?
Assalamu alaikum, I've been struggling with my salah lately. Alhamdulillah, I'm consistent with the five daily prayers, but they’ve started to feel like just a routine-like I'm just ticking off a box, you know? I say the words, but my heart isn't in it. I know I'm praying for Allah, but it bothers me that I feel almost nothing inside while standing there. I used to pray the sunnah prayers too, but then I noticed I was rushing through them the same way, so I stepped back and focused only on the fard for a bit. But I still want to find that spark again. Have any of you gone through this? I’d love some advice or reminders from the Quran or hadith that could help me reconnect mentally and spiritually in my prayers. Something that might motivate me to pick up the sunnah prayers again with a better mindset. Jazakum Allahu khairan.
