PG Djombang Baru Supports the 35th NU Congress with Social Action
PT Sinergi Gula Nusantara (SGN) Pabrik Gula (PG) Djombang Baru is backing the 35th Nahdlatul Ulama Congress at Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Islamic Boarding School, Jombang, on August 27–31, 2026. The support takes the form of river cleanups and providing a mess for congress participants to stay in.
PG Djombang Baru's Finance Manager, Sai, said this activity is a way to show the company's synergy with the community to make this big, socially valuable event a success. Plus, the company is also holding free health checkups for locals as part of its corporate social responsibility program.
The community has welcomed the initiative. Mamid, head of the Griya Indah neighborhood association, appreciated the free healthcare and hopes this program can be held regularly.
