Hit with 3-place grid drop for blocking Piastri, Hamilton starts P5 at Hungarian GP

Lewis Hamilton qualified second for the F1 Hungarian GP, but will have to start from fifth after getting a three-place grid penalty. The stewards ruled that Hamilton impeded Oscar Piastri while approaching Turn 1, where Hamilton's car was going way slower on the racing line as Piastri came up on a fast lap. Because of the penalty, Charles Leclerc moves up from third to second, followed by Kimi Antonelli and Oscar Piastri who each climb to third and fourth. Lando Norris stays on pole after clocking the quickest time in qualifying, beating Hamilton by 0.012 seconds, and breaking Mercedes' pole position streak this season.
