What do you wish you knew earlier about our Islamic past?
Assalamu alaikum, everyone! I've been reflecting a lot on how we learn about Islamic history. It seems like many of us know bits and pieces-maybe a few stories, names, or events-but when it comes to the bigger picture, like how different times and places connect, it can get a bit confusing. I'm wondering, if you could change the way Islamic history is taught, what would you do differently? Are there certain topics that you feel should be explained more clearly? And are there any scholars, scientists, cities, or events that you think deserve more attention? Just trying to understand how people learn and where the gaps are-not promoting anything. JazakAllah khair for sharing your thoughts!
