Asking About Istikhara for Career Choices

Assalamu alaikum, brothers and sisters. I wanted to share my experience and ask about yours regarding performing istikhara for job and career decisions, not just for matters like marriage. For the past six months, I've struggled to find employment, even though I work in a field with high demand and I have solid experience and good evaluations. Recently, I applied for two positions: one is my absolute dream job that I never thought I'd have a chance at, and another that I didn't feel very comfortable with. Initially, I heard nothing from either. Then, I prayed istikhara, and just one day later, the dream job contacted me. Soon after, the other job also reached out, but I've been putting off calling them back. On the same day I did istikhara, I unexpectedly received another offer through a friend-more prestigious, better paid, and a higher position. Yet, my heart feels this might be something for later, not for now. I was invited for an interview and then a trial day. During that day, the person I was assigned to was rather cold toward me, and I was faced with personal topics that made me a bit emotional for a moment. I still really hope to get the job, but I'm worried the impression wasn't good. I'll get the final feedback midweek.
