Appeal to Help a Brother Overwhelmed by Debt - Jazakum Allahu Khayran
Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh, I’m sharing this appeal on behalf of a Muslim brother who’s privately struggling with heavy financial debt and the emotional toll that comes with it. He is currently owing £22,500 and despite doing his best, the burden has become too much for him to manage alone. He’s always tried to live within his means, but a mix of responsibilities and difficult circumstances led him into this situation. The constant pressure of the debt is affecting his mental health, making it hard for him to move forward, plan for the future, or find ease in daily life. This debt is also stopping him from completing his Nikkah. The Prophet ﷺ said, “Whoever relieves a believer of a hardship from the hardships of this world, Allah will relieve him of a hardship from the hardships of the Day of Resurrection.” (Muslim) The target of £22,500 will be used to clear this debt so he can regain stability, restore hope, and continue his life with dignity and renewed strength. Any contribution, big or small, is sadaqah that will relieve a heart under strain. If you can’t give, please keep him in your duʿāʾ and consider sharing this message with others who might be able to help. Duʿāʾ: O Allah, relieve him of this burden, open for him sources of provision from where he does not expect, replace his hardship with ease, and grant him peace of heart. Give him patience and strength, and make this support a means of forgiveness, mercy, and elevation for everyone who helps. Ameen. May Allah bless you for your generosity, increase barakah in your wealth, and ease every difficulty in your life. Jazakum Allahu Khayran.
