Abu Janda Considered to Have No Goodwill, Has Yet to Apologize to West Sumatra Residents
The legal counsel of DPP IKM, Dafrizal Djamari, stated that influencer Permadi Arya, also known as Abu Janda, hasn't shown any good faith after spewing hate speech with SARA nuances against the Minangkabau people and West Sumatra. This was said after accompanying DPP IKM Secretary General Braditi Moulevey during a clarification examination at Bareskrim Polri on Monday, July 6, 2026.
According to Dafrizal, Abu Janda never issued a public apology or one through his legal team, but instead just denied making any insults without expressing regret for his actions. The statement is seen as troubling and hurtful to the people of West Sumatra.
DPP IKM Secretary General Braditi Moulevey appreciated the police's quick response in handling the report, which was registered under number LP/B/230/V/2026/SPKT/Bareskrim Polri on May 26, 2026. He confirmed that evidence and testimony have been provided to the investigators.
