A Small Tie to This World, My Brothers and Sisters

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh my dear brothers and sisters, I'm writing this with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes. I’ve never really had friends who included me in their plans, no real companionship. I don’t have a wife because I turned down those who came forward - I felt ashamed at the thought of calling someone my wife before I was ready in my faith and character. Remember Allah SWT in every step of your life. This loneliness hits me deeply, but inshaAllah I will get through it with Allah’s help. This is for those men and women whose hearts are broken or who feel lonely because they chose not to join friends who led them into gossip or bad habits, or because they stepped away for the sake of their deen. Pray for them too, that they may return to the One Creator. Ya Rabb, protect my imaan and keep me safe from the fitna of this world. Help me to put You first in my heart, not any human. Make my speech only kind, not something that harms others out of selfishness or pride. Remove my ego and grant me humility like our beloved Prophet ﷺ. Oh Allah, if it is Your will that I meet the Prophet ﷺ one day, grant me that blessing; I long to see his beautiful character. Remember the deceased in your du’as. Pray for the oppressed, that they may be freed from whatever worldly chains bind them, whether by their own mistakes or by the hands of oppressors. JazakAllahu khairan for reading.
