A heartfelt nudge for myself and everyone

It really hurts to notice how wrapped up we get in this temporary life, even though we know deep down it won’t last. As Muslims, we all understand that the hereafter is true, yet we still get pulled by worldly temptations. I’m guilty of it too. This is just a little reminder that each of us will meet death one day. Eventually, we’ll all rest beneath the soil. All the rushing and chasing after a fancy life is pointless anyway, because death can come without warning. We spend our days painting this world in bright colors, only to find in the end that we’ve left our akhirah darker than the deepest night.
