How to deal with triggers trauma panic in an Islamic way?
Salam everyone, I need some advice on how to heal from certain words or topics that make me panic and feel physically sick. Normally I'm fine-I eat good, sleep okay, and keep up with my stuff. But the second I hear a specific word or anything related to it, I feel thrown off, scared, and like I'm not safe. The thing is, in the past, people really scared me into believing certain things. Real bad stuff happened, and now I'm left with this trauma. I don't wanna say the exact topic so no one gets the wrong idea, but when it comes up, I feel like everyone's judging me, putting labels on me, and I carry all this shame or guilt that I never even deserved. I try to be strong, but every time I get triggered, it's the same awful feeling. I've been doing dhikr and making dua, asking Allah to show me a way out. I just wanna know: 1. How can I spiritually let go of these fake labels and the shame and guilt that people push on me? 2. What are some good Sunnah tips or ways to calm myself right when that panic hits from a trigger word? 3. Any special duas to get back my peace and trust Allah's judgment instead of people's? 4. Has anyone managed to mix tawakkul with, like, therapy for trauma to beat these triggers? Please remember me in your duas. Jazakumullahu Khairan.
