A Genuine Desire to Embrace Islam
As-salamu alaykum, everyone. I'm reaching out because I feel a sincere call in my heart to become Muslim. I've wanted to greet you all with 'salam alaikum' but was hesitant, thinking it might be reserved only for those already in the faith. Could someone please kindly guide me on how to take my shahadah and officially enter Islam? The portrayals I've seen in Western media have left me feeling misled and disillusioned, but from my own reading and research, I truly see Islam as a religion of peace and truth.
