How to Help a Non-Muslim Loved One Find Faith
Alhamdulillah, I am grateful to be a Muslim. However, I'm facing a challenge in my life. I've developed deep feelings for someone who doesn't believe in God at this moment. I've explained that for marriage to be valid, he would need to embrace Islam, but I don't want him to convert unless he truly believes in his heart. We've discussed this openly, and he's agreed to learn more about our faith by doing his own research. The idea of marrying anyone else doesn't feel right to me because I truly wish for him to become my husband - I simply can't imagine building a future with someone else. I'm wondering what I can do to help him recognize Islam as the true path? If you've embraced Islam later in life, what experiences or realizations brought you to faith in Allah? Also, what kind of information or resources might be meaningful to share with him? Could I also ask for your sincere prayers that Allah guides him toward Islam, softens his heart, and illuminates his mind with truth? Thank you to everyone who reads this. May Allah bless you all and grant you goodness in this life and the next ❤️
