Embracing Islam: My Journey of Faith and Finding Peace

Assalamu alaikum, everyone! I wanted to share something truly special. I've felt Allah's presence and guidance in my heart since I was 11 years old. It's been a long journey because I grew up in a home that wasn't open to Islam, so I couldn't openly declare my faith right away. Alhamdulillah, I finally took my Shahada, my declaration of faith, on March 17, 2026. SubhanAllah, it felt like completing a circle-it happened nearly 12 years to the day since I first felt that call to faith as a child. I was so overwhelmed with gratitude, I couldn't hold back the tears. It feels like coming home.
