A classmate shared our photos online without consent – need advice
Assalamu alaikum everyone, I'm honestly so stressed right now. During our college fest, we were in an all-girls setup, so we put on traditional dresses that were a bit fitted since it was just girls around. There was one non-Muslim classmate with us, and we specifically told her not to post any pictures or videos of us on her social media – she does that often. She agreed and promised she wouldn't. We didn't want to leave her out because she's the only non-Muslim, so we included her in everything. Now, after college wrapped up and we aren't even in touch anymore, she went ahead and posted a full edit of us on her socials. When we confronted her to take it down, she's ignoring our messages and calls. Some sisters weren't wearing hijab in those clips. I'm so worried about the sin from this, all because she didn't respect our values or keep her promise. I feel so scared – I never wanted my face out there like that. I don't know what to do, I'm just horrified. I've learned my lesson, I won't be in anyone's photos from now on. Any advice on how to handle this? Jazakum Allahu khairan.
