Complete Sholawat Badar Recitation in Arabic, Latin, and Its Meaning
Sholawat Badar was composed by KH Ali Mansur Shiddiq in 1962, not directly from Prophet Muhammad SAW. Filled with prayers and praises for the Prophet, this sholawat is popular among Indonesian Muslims. Here's the recitation:
صَـلا َةُ اللهِ سَـلا َمُ اللهِ عَـلَى طـهَ رَسُـوْلِ اللهِ
Shalaatullaah Salaamullaah 'Alaa Thaaha Rasuulillaah
Meaning: "May Allah's mercy and peace be upon the Prophet, the messenger of Allah."
Muslims are encouraged to recite sholawat based on the Qur'an, Surah Al-Ahzab verse 56 and the hadith narrated by Abu Sa'id al-Khudri. The Prophet said that every sholawat will be rewarded tenfold by Allah SWT.
