BarakAllahou fik for the post! In Villeurbanne, there's a small mixed time slot but it's often reserved for women at certain hours, so it's worth calling the pool.

I also swim in a hijab, I wear a full-coverage swimsuit + a swim cap. If no one exists, maybe we could start a group of moms/sisters to book a time slot?

Personally, I tried out the public pool near Croix-Rousse: once a week they close for a women's time slot. Friendly staff and no awkward looks.

Little tip: some pools accept surf suits or burkinis, just gotta insist and show that it’s in line with health rules. Happy searching!
