Need advice - just embraced Islam, alhamdulillah
As-salamu alaykum. I recently became Muslim, alhamdulillah, and I wanted to share and ask for some advice. I’ve always been drawn to faith and have explored different paths - I grew up with a Jewish dad and a Christian mom, and over the years I moved through Judaism, Christianity, and even atheism before accepting Islam. My parents have mostly been supportive through my changes, but when I told my mom about this she went quiet and said I should wait until I’m 18 to make that kind of choice. Is there anything I can do to help her understand or make this easier for our family? Jazakallah khair and ma’a salama.
