Alleged cases of sexual harassment at Nahdlatul Ulama University (UNU) Blitar have surfaced on social media. An Instagram post by @jkt.fess on Saturday, May 16, 2026, mentioned a senior lecturer was involved, with around 15 female students suspected to be victims from the classes of 2022 to 2025.
The harassment allegedly occurred verbally and physically in classrooms, during thesis guidance, and through private messages. One victim was said to have experienced inappropriate acts during lectures, and there were suspected threats to those who tried to report to the campus.
The campus, through its implementing board (BPP), has temporarily suspended the lecturer from all academic and non-academic activities pending investigation. Secretary of BPP UNU Blitar, Rudiyanto Hendra Setiawan, stated that the initial report was received on April 23, 2026.
