Unexpected Blessing from Memorizing Quran
Assalam Alaikum, I recently went through the hardest test of my life and wanted to share because now I truly believe every Muslim should aim to memorize Quran. In early October I helped a sister whose whole family was suffering severe jinn possession. After that, my own household-including my three cats-were targeted by a powerful jinn. She came into my home and put sihr and possession on every living being, even my husband and daughter. By Allah’s help I have managed to remove four of the six jinn so far, Alhamdulillah. This is where knowing the Quran well made a huge difference. Many people doing ruqyah repeat a few set ayat for weeks or months, but because I’ve memorized so much, my recitation feels guided. I always begin my ruqyah asking Allah to purify my intention and to guide my recitation. That’s the key. No two ruqyah sessions have been the same. I might start with Fatiha, Ayatul Kursi and the last two ayat of Baqarah, and then Allah will put a particular surah in my heart to continue with. Yesterday my daughter received shifa when I was guided to recite Surah Mulk three times. Today, with my boy, I was guided to recite the sajdah ayah three times and the effect was sudden and the jinn was greatly weakened. Each jinn is different, SubhanAllah-sometimes He guides me to recite Al-Qiyamah or Al-Haqqah-He knows what is needed to remove them. At one point a jinn even tried to afflict me, but because I recite so much Quran it could not control me and Allah granted me shifa quickly, Alhamdulillah. In short: memorize as much of the Quran as you can. It’s not just for reward or connection-it can be protection and help if Allah tests you in ways you never expected. 💕
