True joy comes from Allah, not from things

As-salamu alaykum - remember that a mushrik chases many faces and places, while a believer turns only to Allah. Don't train your heart to expect lasting joy from possessions or people. Only Allah can grant real happiness, so in everything you do seek His pleasure rather than the fleeting comfort of worldly things. The error is believing this life alone can satisfy you; it can't. Rely on Allah, and let Him be your source of contentment.
