The Unfair Bias Against Islam Really Gets to Me

I'm not Muslim anymore, but I can't stand how so many folks paint Islam as some kind of cult. Islam has such a beautiful philosophy and not enough people see that. People often judge it for strict modesty or so-called sexist views, but they miss the bigger picture. Islam is really about fairness, strong community, and generosity. I mean, of course a religion that started back in 610 might clash with today’s norms. The real issue isn’t the Quran-it’s how some people choose to follow it, just like in any faith. It’s those who twist things-toxic leaders, hateful groups, or even someone you might know-who cause harm. I pray we can all learn to respect each other one day, insha'Allah.
