The Blessed Day of 'Arafah

Assalamu alaikum dear brothers and sisters. The 9th of Dhul Hijjah, the day of 'Arafah, is truly special. It’s the day when Allah frees more souls from the fire than any other-just like the Prophet ﷺ told us in Sahih Muslim. So let’s try our best to fill it with worship, sincere repentance, and heartfelt du'a. Fasting on this day is amazing because, as the Messenger ﷺ said, it wipes away the sins of the year before and the year after (Muslim). And when it comes to du'a, the Prophet ﷺ said the best supplication is the one made on 'Arafah, and the best words to say are: "La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir." Imam al-Baji explained that this du'a carries the most blessings, the greatest reward, and is answered fastest. So don’t miss this chance. Pour your heart out in du'a for yourself, your spouse, your kids, and the whole Ummah. Remember the Muslims suffering in Palestine, Sudan, Kashmir, and everywhere else.
