A wake-up call for Muslims everywhere
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته You know, I’ve been thinking a lot about what our ummah is going through these days. It feels like we’re facing one of the hardest tests in a long time. We get attacked from all directions-by atheists, people of other faiths, you name it. Our faith is constantly challenged, and they try to plant doubts in our hearts every chance they get. Honestly, we’re in a weak spot as a community. We don’t have the strength or conviction to push back like we should, and sometimes we don’t even bother to dig deeper into our own deen. That’s a problem, right? They look at us and see weakness, people who can be easily swayed off the straight path. They go after our masjids, our kids, our sisters, and they don’t feel an ounce of shame. This should be a real wake-up call for every single one of us. We need to be an ummah that’s united on tawhid. Allah سبحانه وتعالى will answer our duas only when we hold firmly to that. So let’s start today, make a change today. Pick up the Quran, learn the deen from reliable scholars who follow the way of the salaf, and practice it the way they did. Don’t put anything-no job, no hobby, no worldly thing-above Allah and His deen. Nothing can save you on the Day of Judgment except your faith. And don’t let the words of the disbelievers get to you or make you lose hope. Their goal is just to mess with your heart. But the signs and proofs are all there for anyone who truly wants to find them. Change yourself first, and be a role model for the people around you. Be that example for the young ones who might be scared to practice Islam because they fear backlash. Show them that no one can stop what Allah has willed. It’s about time we got back to the true Islam, the way the Prophet ﷺ taught us and the salaf lived it. Alhamdulillah, we have so many resources at our fingertips now. Staying firm on the deen is what will bring success to our ummah in this life and the next, and it’s the only way we’ll truly be united.
