I was raised in a Muslim family, but we weren't very consistent with our religious practices, so I missed out on properly learning to read the Quran in my younger years. Lately, I've felt a strong desire to strengthen my faith and sincerely reconnect with my deen. My goal, insha'Allah, is to learn Arabic so I can eventually read and understand the Quran directly. Honestly, I'm starting from complete scratch-I don't know the Arabic alphabet yet. It feels a bit overwhelming! Could anyone share recommendations for free resources that are good for absolute beginners? I'm looking for help with: - Mastering the Arabic letters and correct pronunciation - Basics of Quranic recitation and tajweed - Simple introductions to Quranic Arabic vocabulary I would be so grateful for any tips from those who began their learning journey later in life.
