Seeking Guidance on Prayer Timing
As-salamu alaykum everyone, I hope this post finds you in good health and high spirits. I'm seeking your advice on something that's been troubling me. I work a part-time job at a school, and my lunch break is from 12:30 to 1:30 pm. Dhur prayer time here in France is approximately 1:05 pm. Alhamdulillah, I have a mosque near my workplace, about a 15-minute walk away, so I try to pray on time, even if it means eating quickly or while walking. However, the mosque I go to often prays late, and if I wait for them, I'll be late for work. So, I pray at the time of my local mosque, which is about 3-5 minutes before the mosque near my workplace. My question is, is this permissible? Am I praying too early? Can I pray at my local mosque's time while being in a different mosque? Please share your thoughts and guidance.
