Seeking Guidance on Fasting and Prayer During a Confusing Time
Assalamu alaikum, everyone. Please, no harsh judgments-I've been hard enough on myself and have sincerely sought forgiveness from Allah (SWT). I'm a recent revert, having embraced Islam just before Ramadan. To keep it brief, I had my monthly cycle end earlier. Afterwards, I was in a situation with my husband that required emergency contraception. Now, I'm experiencing some brown discharge and cramps. I'm feeling really confused and lost. I don't know if this is my period starting early, a side effect of the medication, or something else. My main worry is about my worship: am I still allowed to fast and pray during this time? I really don't want to break my fast unnecessarily. Any advice or knowledge you can share would be such a big help. Jazakum Allahu khayran.
