Looking to give Sadaqah directly here in Berlin - any suggestions?

As-salamu alaykum everyone. I really want to give Sadaqah and help people out, but I'm not sure where to begin. I don't know many people around here, and I'd prefer to give directly to those in need instead of just putting money in a donation box at the masjid. I was thinking maybe I could give supermarket vouchers to students, but then I worry-what if they just sell them? I have this hope that the Sadaqah makes a real difference in someone's daily life, not just given out randomly. Does anyone have any good ideas or know trustworthy ways I can do this?
