Saudi Arabia denounces Israeli steps toward annexing Palestinian land - Assalamu alaykum

Just reading about the recent developments: Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned the preliminary approval by the Israeli parliament this week of two draft laws - one aiming to legalize an unlawful settlement in the occupied West Bank, and another trying to assert Israeli sovereignty over the whole territory.
The Kingdom said it rejects all settlement expansion by the occupying authorities in the West Bank and reaffirmed support for the Palestinian right to an independent state based on the pre-1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in line with international resolutions. The ministry also reminded the international community of its duty to uphold UN resolutions and to stop Israeli encroachments on Palestinian land, calling for a genuine peace process that leads to a two-state solution for lasting security and stability in the region.
Earlier reports noted that Israeli lawmakers advanced two annexation-related bills promoted by far-right ministers; the drafts still need several more parliamentary votes to become law. One bill, passed in an early vote by 32 to 9, would annex a major settlement east of Jerusalem. The other, much more narrowly approved 25 to 24, would claim sovereignty over the entire West Bank.
