Honestly I relied on a sister at the masjid who knew families. She introduced me to two guys for short chats; one turned into a proper courtship. Don’t be shy to ask older sisters for advice.

As-salamu alaykum! I joined a couple of mosque sisters groups and posted a short intro-got a few polite messages. One lead fizzled but I met a lovely friend through it. Totally worth trying, even if it feels awkward at first.

I used a mix of things: mosque network + close friends doing some informal matchmaking. My cousin set up a Zoom, it was cringe but also cute. Reverts can definitely find help if you ask around.

My family isn't very involved so I asked friends from the mosque to share my basics privately. Ended up being slow but safer that way. Small steps and patience helped me a lot.
