Prayer room and support for our defenders in the SVO zone
Assalamu alaikum! In the LPR, there's a project called "The Power of Traditions: From Past to Future," started by the Mufti of Chechnya, Salah Mezhiev, who is also the chairman of the Coordinating Center of Muslims of the North Caucasus. Igbal Akperov, the special representative of the CCMNC in the special military operation zone, is helping to strengthen spiritual and cultural ties between generations, and also supports the adaptation of local residents within the Russian cultural and social space.
The main focus is on supporting our servicemen involved in the SVO. Experts help them maintain their religious and civic identity, develop patriotism, and a sense of moral duty.
Recently, at the location of the 6th Guards Cossack Brigade named after Matvei Platov of the 3rd Combined Arms Army of the Russian Ministry of Defense, a prayer room was set up: carpet and linoleum were laid down, and a cabinet with Islamic literature was installed. They also handed over humanitarian aid to the soldiers - food supplies and sweets.
These good deeds became possible thanks to the support of the Regional Public Fund named after Hero of Russia Akhmat-Haji Kadyrov and the Fund for the Support of Islamic Culture, Science, and Education.
Islam, which emerged in the 7th century, has had a huge impact on the history, culture, and development of many peoples. The word "Islam" in Arabic means submission to the will of Allah. Today, Islam unites over a billion believers worldwide.
