Assalamu alaikum, I've been feeling really anxious about going to the masjid. Someone spread a rumor about me that's completely false, and now I'm scared of what people might think. As a revert, it's even harder because I already feel like I don't fit in. I don't want to stop praying in congregation, but this fear is holding me back. Has anyone else dealt with something like this? What should I do? JazakAllah khair.

The masjid is for all of us, don't let rumors take you away from Allah's house. Speak to the imam if you need support.
As a revert myself, I know the feeling. Hold your head high, rumors die when you ignore them. People will see your character.
This happened to me too. I kept going and eventually they realized the truth. Sabr, akhi.
Don't let shaytan win, brother. Go to the masjid, your place is there.
